This 100-hour module of the LYT Level 2 certification will give you 6 more LYT classes and their breakdowns as well as the anatomy, safe cueing, and philosophy you need to elevate your teaching and continue making a positive impact on people's lives right away. This module discusses in detail the anatomy and functional movement of the spine, breathing mechanics and functions, core matrix, pelvic floor considerations, advanced asanas, and your metaphysical core.

LYT Level 1 and Sequencing 101 certifications are prerequisites for this course.

Week 1

Theme: Spine

Dedicated to the structure, function, and therapeutic potential of the spine, this week combines movement, anatomy, and assessment tools to build a comprehensive understanding. Lara’s Evolve Your Spine class and breakdown introduce the week’s focus, supported by lectures on spinal anatomy, function, and evolution, as well as an introduction to the SOAP method for therapeutic application. Kristin leads a series of targeted labs addressing mobility, stability, and adaptability across the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Additional sessions explore spinal movement through yoga poses and a live private session led by Lara. The week concludes with a quiz to assess integration of key spinal concepts.

Week 2

Theme: Breath

Exploring the deep relationship between breath, core integration, and spinal support, this week emphasizes structural awareness and functional movement. Lara’s Restructure to Breathe class and breakdown set the tone for embodied breathwork, supported by lectures on the breath, bandhas, and their practical application. Labs focus on increasing mobility, therapeutic abdominal bracing, and integrating breath and bandhas into sun salutations and flow-based sequences. Fascial restructuring techniques offer additional depth in supporting breath and spinal function. The week concludes with collaborative group work to reinforce understanding and application.

Week 2

Theme: Shoulder Complex

Below is a breakdown of the content you can expect in week 2, along with class and lecture duration so you can plan accordingly. In addition to these videos, there is a 1-hour live call with Lara and the team and a 1-hour mentor call scheduled each week. As always, these calls are recorded, and attendance is not mandatory. Finally, week 2 includes a group work assignment, so please budget time to coordinate with your small group.

Week 3

Theme: Pelvic Floor & Core

With a focus on the pelvic floor and core, this week blends movement, anatomy, and practical strategies for stability and functional strength. Lara’s Pelvic Pulley class and breakdown are paired with detailed lectures on pelvic anatomy and kinesiology from both Lara and Ashley. Hands-on labs include myofascial release, strengthening drills, and techniques for addressing pelvic floor dysfunction in the LYT method. The learning continues with Rhonna’s Brace for Balance class and breakdown, supported by a lecture on core anatomy and labs exploring beginner and intermediate core drills. The week concludes with a quiz to assess integration of key spinal concepts.

Week 4

Theme: Advanced Asanas

Designed to explore the concept of “advanced” in a functional and accessible way, this week emphasizes strength, control, and thoughtful progression. Lara’s Amp It Up class and breakdown set the tone, followed by a lecture that deconstructs what makes an asana advanced. Labs with Lara and Kristin dive into preparation, propping, and progressions for arm balances, handstands, and advanced transitions. The week encourages creative problem-solving and intelligent risk-taking, concluding with group work to apply and integrate the material collaboratively.

Week 4

Theme: Hips

Lara’s Purpose class and breakdown provide a grounding movement experience, supported by a lecture on identifying and embodying core values. Jeremy leads a walking meditation lab to cultivate presence, while Lara shares a practical lab on vegan cooking as an extension of mindful living. The week concludes with preparation for the final class, tying together the personal and professional growth cultivated throughout the course.
