In this course will break down Lara’s 10 Core LYT flows into their most basic parts of kinesiology and movement patterns, explain the different planes of motion of the body and how they relate to flow choreography, introduce how themes are created and woven throughout the practice, and begin a discussion on playlist creation, class timing based on level of difficulty, and Sequence-to-Stream progression.
With the knowledge of Sequencing Lab 101 under your belt, you are now ready to create your own, original LYT Method flows! Join Kristin Williams as she delves deeper into class creation and methodology to break down sequencing into a fail-proof, reproducible system for you as you embark on your journey as a LYT teacher. LYT Level 1 Certification and Sequencing Lab 101 is the prerequisite class to Sequencing Labs 201 and 301.
In this course, the LYT instructor will learn to create classes for an intermediate and advanced populations. We will explore the addition of optional handstands and plyometrics as well as how to adapt a flow to adjust for different levels or incorporate different themes. Finally, the instructor will learn how to do and teach a variety of advanced poses that can be added with discretion to the Level 2 or 3 flows as appropriate.
