This 100-hour module of the LYT Level 2 certification will give you 6 more LYT classes and their breakdowns as well as the anatomy, safe cueing, and philosophy you need to elevate your teaching and continue making a positive impact on people's lives right away. In addition to discussing in detail the anatomy and functional movement of the shoulders, hips, and upper and lower extremities, this module covers DIY soft tissue mobilization.

LYT Level 1 and Sequencing 101 certifications are prerequisites for this course.

Week 1

Theme: Shoulder Complex

This week provides an in-depth exploration of shoulder health through the lens of functional anatomy and therapeutic application. Lara’s Scapular Robustness Class and breakdown lay the foundation for dynamic shoulder support and integration. A skeletal review and anatomy lecture deepen understanding of shoulder structure and movement, while a focused introduction to the SOAP method offers a practical framework for therapeutic assessment. Additional lectures explore key elements of shoulder function—stability, mobility, and adaptability—followed by a hands-on lab applying therapeutic strategies. The week concludes with a quiz to assess comprehension and integration of shoulder-focused content.

Week 2

Theme: Shoulder Complex

This shoulder-focused week builds on prior learning with practical application, adaptation, and real-world teaching scenarios. Lara’s Centrate & Celebrate class and breakdown emphasize balanced shoulder integration and celebratory movement. Kristin leads a hands-on lab exploring common yoga poses that challenge the shoulders, offering practical adaptations and modifications. Two private sessions with Lara showcase individualized approaches to shoulder support in different bodies. The week concludes with collaborative group work, allowing participants to synthesize knowledge and refine their therapeutic teaching skills.
